Time article:Mexican gangsters send grisly message on crime

On tuesday september 20th in rush hour traffic in gulf region mexico two large trucks stopped in the middle of the freeway and dumped 35 bodies onto the road to send a message. Many of the bodies bore signs of torture, the bodies included 12 women and 3 children, the trucks had been intended for fruit cargo transfer but had been converted to carry the bodies. This display transcends any previous displays of depravity committed by drug lords and is expected to provoke further chaos as others vie to outdo each other.
